Through these films, we aim to showcase the majesty of China's adventure stories—ones that touch us in deep and different ways—sharing the connection between human life and the natural in China.

Altay Wild snow

Five friends who love off-piste skiing adventures embarked on a journey to find the best off-piste skiing spot in China. They arrived in Altay, Xinjiang, known as the earliest origin of human skiing, and teamed up with the Tuvans who uphold the tradition of ancient fur skis. Together, they attempted to climb the highest peak in the area and ski down the mountain. It was a 10,000-year-old tradition of fur-covered wooden skis, a 5,000-kilometer trek through the northwest, a 500-kilometer journey along icy mountain roads on the border, and a 2,000-meter vertical drop down the snowy mountains. They spent 14 days and nights galloping through the snowy forests.

Invisible Summit

A blind man decided to challenge the impossible climb for his family.May 24th, 2021, Zhang Hong, a blind Chinese man, successfully reached the summit of Mount Everest from the southern slope with the assistance of his team guides, becoming the first blind person in Asia to climb Everest. This achievement came 25 years after he lost his sight.

Girl Of Wind

This is a story about a lonely deaf girl, Yang Yang, who often climbs with her bare hands on top of 500 meters tall buildings in the city. By chance, the director, Nanhsi Yuen, meets her and the two people's lives begin to intertwine. The director herself began an examination of her own life during the continuous shooting.In the film, Yang Yang and the director form parallel characters, one real and one imaginary, in which the dialogue is both about each other and about themselves. This is the rambling of the two young people in the five years of their lives, which is a dense weave of the contemporary youth's difficulties and longings for life, ideals and the future.

Searching for Christmas Tree

Shark Tooth Don’t Have Roots

"Shark Tooth Don’t Have Roots” is China's first documentary film exploring the relationship between humans and sharks, and it is also a female-themed film showcasing the strength humans derive from nature. The film follows underwater photographer Fang ZHOU’s footsteps over more than a decade as she documents sharks worldwide, gradually exploring and understanding the truth about sharks, and correcting long-standing prejudices and misconceptions we have about them.In the end, we see that humans choose to resolve crises with love and protect our blue home. Let us believe that "it is never too late to make the right choice."

This is Guizhou

This film is the culmination of a dream planted five years ago by cyclist Sun Dawei. Driven by this dream, his team embarked on a 28-day journey through Guizhou. Guizhou, which was the filmmaker's childhood playground for swimming and holds a special place in his heart as the site of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Guizhou is indeed beautiful, hence the title of the film, "This is Guizhou."
